Organizational Chart

The most important responsibility for this department is to maintain internal security and safety facilities and properties in cooperation with other stakeholders within the University or outside.

University Security Department is divided into four units:

1-Archive Unit:

This unit undertakes the following responsibilities:

a- Preparing correspondences and mails to follow up, and supervising employees' disciplines.

b- Issuing cars pass for employees and permitted persons, and interim pass for contractors and their workers.  

2- Guarding Unit:

This unit undertakes the following responsibilities:

a- Guarding and controlling entrances to the University and all buildings, facilities and equipments.

b- Regulating the entry of students, employees and visitors around the clock and preventing taking out objects only with special permission duly certified.

3- University Security Unit: 

This unit undertakes the following responsibilities:

a- Maintaining security and discipline, and preventing riots and demonstrations, in addition this unit prevent illegal distribution of publications and notify the competent authorities.

b- Overseeing all activities occurring within the University such as registration of students, student union elections, and graduation ceremonies and any other activities.

c- Surveillance of workers and enterprises and reporting any incident or malfunction.  



4- Public Safety Unit:

This unit undertakes the following responsibilities:

a- Maintaining public safety inside campus and address any fire or any other emergencies with available means, providing first aids in case of any incident and work on casualty evacuation with the coordination of Civil Defense and Directorate Health.

b- Ensuring the validity of public safety equipments such as extinguishers and alarms and work on to be maintained periodically.

c- Overseeing shelters and supplies needed for this purpose.
